Environmental Awareness Initiative

This collaborative effort aimed to promote  environmental education and engagement within the local community, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Adult Literacy for All (ALL) Strategy.

The initiative kicked off with a launch event in September (timed to coincide with European Sustainable Development Goals week), and setting the stage for a series of four public workshops. These workshops, tailored to the towns circumstances, explored pressing environmental issues through the lens of the SDGs.

The launch was a huge success and set this Initiative off to a powerful start.
